I am a North Carolina native, originally from Mount Olive. It is a great town, and a wonderful place to grow up. I am very fortunate to have been raised by individuals who wanted to instill values that would carry me through adulthood. Where the value of an individual is measured by his/her integrity, intentions that are motivated by altruism, and a man’s handshake is enough to solidify a willingness to complete an obligation.
I received my bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, where I majored in business with a concentration in Finance. Later, I obtained my master’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, where I have an MBA with a concentration in Finance. In my free time, I enjoy taking non degree seeking classes that allow me to learn more about topics that interest me.
Professionally, I started in the real estate industry as an assistant to a commercial broker back in 2006, received my license shortly thereafter, and have been in real estate ever since. I have worked as both a broker and an investor, with an emphasis on real estate as an investment. Whether it is a (pre)foreclosure, fix and flip, or buy and hold transaction. I am a numbers person, by nature, and I love to analyze an opportunity to help individuals maximize their investment opportunity.
I have lived in the Cape Fear Region since the early 2000s, having spent most of my time in New Hanover County, but moved to Leland about 10 years ago, and have enjoyed my time here. The pace is slower, and there is more nature, which reminds me a great deal of my hometown. I now have a family here and I am glad my son can enjoy the outdoors, living in a neighborhood filled with friends, like I had when I was a child.
My primary emphasis in real estate is to focus on the Leland and Brunswick County markets because I feel it has a lot to offer individuals and families alike. I live here, and I want to help others transition to life, “over the bridge”. My approach to each, and every transaction, is one that exemplifies the principles to which I was raised: integrity and professionalism at every step in the process, altruistic intent in my daily life, and a handshake to solidify the interaction.
